Virtual Opportunity
Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a virtual activities program for older adults across the country. We offer social and educational sessions by phone and video. We're looking for volunteers to facilitate our 30-minute COFFEE TALK session on Wednesdays at 10:30 am - 11:00 am Central Standard Time (CST). The time commitment is about an hour, from 10:15 am-11:15 am CST to account for pre and post-session tasks. If every Wednesday is too much of a commitment, we can create a rotational schedule . Coffee Talk is a conversational session. As the facilitator, you will lead the conversation and have things planned to discuss, e.g., current events (staying away from politics and other heated topics, of course), trivia, fun facts - you name it. Often times, the participants lead the conversation, despite what you've planned! The goal of the session is to have friendly conversation and increase social connectivity. While this volunteer opportunity is virtual, you must live in the U.S. Phone, computer, and internet connection is required, along with a positive attitude and fun energy that transfers well over the phone to older adults. Training and ongoing support provided. Thanks for considering this opportunity!

Virtual Opportunity
Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a virtual activities program for older adults across the country. We offer social and educational sessions by phone and video. We're looking for volunteers to facilitate our 30-minute BRAIN AEROBICS session on Fridays at 1:00 pm-1:30 pm Central Standard Time (CST). The time commitment is about an hour, from 12:45 pm-1:45 pm CST to account for pre and post-session tasks. If every Friday is too much of a commitment, we can create a rotational schedule. Our Brain Aerobics session is Family Feud-style. You pull up Family Feud-type questions online and read them to participants over the phone and they come up with the answers. While we've been using Family Feud-type questions for many years, we are open to changing it up if you have ideas. The goal of the session is to get the brain engaged and have fun! While this volunteer opportunity is virtual, you must live in the U.S. Phone, computer, and internet connection is required, along with positive and fun energy that transfers well over the phone to older adults. Training and ongoing support provided. Thanks so much for considering this opportunity!
