Joseph Lugo and Kayla read a book together. Reading literacy in children from the Leaven increases two-three levels over children who are not in the Leaven program.

School is in session...HOPE is beginning

Children at Leaven Kids centers are engaged each day after school in healthy activities, reading, homework help, and enrichment that emphasize life skills, STEAM, and other fun topics.

They are not spending time after school with countless unsupervised hours . . . boredom . . . peer pressure . . . and a tendency to be destructive - of our community and of themselves.

With you on the team, we're confident we can prevent delinquency, academic loss, and childhood obesity. Come alongside and help these children grow!

Leaven Kids is a hub of hope and help, a targeted transformational tool to marginalized communities through afterschool programming, that is motivated to mentor by planting learning centers inside apartment buildings in low-income and crime-ridden neighborhoods--where no one else is willing to go. Staffed with committed staff and volunteers, children are provided with practical support that leads to seeing kids and communities rise above the challenges of broken cycles.
