ORGANIZATION: Volunteers in Medicine

Front Line Manager is the first person that anyone meets as they enter our free clinic. This volunteers greets and welcomes patients. He/she makes sure the clinic runs smoothly -an integral part of how patients are cared for and able to work with Physicians, Registered Nurses and other support staff.
Responsible for scheduling follow up appointments with primary care and specialty care providers. Computer skills are necessary for scheduling these appointments.

  • 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
    We are open Mon-Sat with various clinic shifts available

We are a free medical clinic that provides no-cost healthcare to uninsured San Diego residents. Volunteers in Medicine (VIM), located in East County, has been making a positive difference in people's lives since 2006. Our free medical services would not be possible without the passion, talent and expertise of our dedicated volunteers who are comprised of practicing/retired physicians, registered nurses, and support staff.
