Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy needs volunteers to assist with its therapeutic riding program for children and adults with disabilities. Volunteers are involved with the care of our wonderful lesson horses and assist with the therapeutic riding lessons. No prior horse experience is necessary. We will train you. Volunteers are needed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 PM, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. All volunteers must be at least 14 years old and have medical insurance. Orientation for all new volunteers is on the first and third Saturday afternoons of each month from 10:30am - 12:00 pm. Please contact our office @ 215-742-1501 to schedule an orientation. Volunteers are also needed for fundraising, office work & general maintenance.

At Pegasus we provide therapeutic exercise in various forms always emphasizing ability and maintaining an environment of respect and trust for our riders, volunteers and horses.
