Would you like to make a difference in the lives of seniors with limited mobility?

Help people attend in-house activities or appointments by accompanying residents who are in wheelchairs. Typical activities include accompanying residents as they go to the Beauty Shop, doctor appointments, physical therapy, concerts, or church services. No driving is required for this activity; all activities occur within our Care Center.

This is an incredibly rewarding volunteer role. You will make new friends, stay active, and help older adults stay engaged and connected.

Description

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
