You too can find mobility freedom

Our nonprofit, GoodwheelChairs.org, repairs and refurbishes donated wheelchairs and scooters to sell at a reduced, affordable price to those with little or no insurance. Our current shop manager is thinking about retiring, and he would like to train a new shop manager before he does. If we did decide to hire you after your volunteer time in training, you need to know that we don't pay much ($250 a month), but it's rewarding work where you get to help people in a very tangible way.

The shop manager does light repair work, installs batteries, maintains the database, runs errands, replies to emails and phone calls, and helps customers who are interested in buying the chairs.

You'd be working out of our small shop and could essentially make your own hours. You'd be helping out those who are less mobile and providing a valued resource to Austin and our nonprofit.
