Emergency Department volunteers provide customer service support to the Departments patients, guests and visitors.

Under the direction of the ER Unit Secretary, the ER volunteer will be responsible for: transport of stable patients to ancillary departments, transporting specimens to Lab; patient rounding while providing comfort measures; messenger runs; filing supplies/cleaning equipment and general clerical assistance.

A long term commitment of one four hour shift per week for 6 months (100 hours) is required.

Shifts available: mornings 8am-12pm; afternoons 12pm-4pm; evenings 4pm-8pm
