We are looking for mature, reliable, compassionate people who are 18 and over to volunteer with Grane Hospice. One can volunteer by either providing caring visits to hospice patients and their families in either their home or facility, helping with errands to ensure peace of mind, providing clerical services, creating crafts to lift the spirits, or a combination of these tasks. Volunteers will receive specialized hospice training. Lending a Caring Hand

Grane Hospice Care employs compassionate and caring adults to volunteer either individually or as a group. Volunteers can expect becoming a member of a specialized group of healthcare professionals whose purpose is to make hospice patients as comfortable and full filled as possible during the end of their lives. There are many different ways to volunteer: sharing music, holding hands, pet therapy, reading aloud, or just taking the time to listen.
