We are looking for mature, reliable, compassionate people who are 18 and over to volunteer with Grane Hospice. We are looking for people to: * VISIT WITH HOSPICE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES AND READ A BOOK, HOLD A HAND, OR JUST TALK OR * HELP WITH ERRANDS SUCH AS LIGHT HOUSEWORK OR GROCERY SHOPPING TO ENSURE PEACE OF MIND OR * PROVIDE CLERICAL SERVICES SUCH AS FILING, FAXING, MAKING PACKETS, OR * CREATE CRAFTS FOR THE PATIENT OR THEIR ROOMS IN YOUR OWN HOME TO UPLIFT THE SPIRITS AND * MAKE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME Volunteers will receive specialized hospice training.
