Four times a year, The Arts & Business Council of Chicago offers an orientation for the Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA) program. The BVA Program trains and places experienced business professionals on pro-bono consulting projects for small to mid-sized non-profit arts organizations. On a project by project basis, volunteers work alongside community arts organizations to facilitate retreats, develop marketing and strategic plans, assess IT needs and budgets, and more. Business Volunteers for the Arts also provides an excellent opportunity for networking and offers an environment conducive to building camaraderie among business professionals, as well as creative collaborations with artist, actors, dancers, and those who simply love the arts! There is an application fee of $100 to cover training, volunteer matching, and project oversight costs.
