Celebrating the first bud of spring, The Morikami's largest annual event, Hatsume, transforms the normally tranquil Morikami Park into a unique Japanese spring festival. In it's 30th year, Hatsume Fair features four stages of continuous entertainment including taiko drumming, Japanese tea ceremony, martial art and bonsai demonstrations! Also included are avenues of artisan booths, plant sales, anime dealers & programming, a Bonsai exploration area, and Asian and American food vendors.
Volunteers help with family activites; as program dispensers; with food & beverage ticket sales ; and many more areas.
