Through its programs, exhibits, festivals, and other sevices, The Museum thrives to create an atmosphere for developing an understanding of both the diverse and common values existing between the American and Japanese cultures.
The Morikami Museum is a cultural museum featuring a changing Japanese exhibit, Japanese Gardens, tea house (with monthly tea ceremonies), Museum Shop and Cafe. Educational courses are held in Sumi-e ink painting, Ikebana flower design, language, photography, as well as Japanese arts and crafts in our Saturday Family Programs.
