During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
13th st cat rescue has opportunities to volunteer by helping care for our cats at our holding area in downtown San Jose. These duties would include playing with the cats as well as feeding, giving water and cleaning litter trays. It is a fun and rewarding hands on experience with our cats and kittens
we are currently full on weekends but really need help on weekday mornings!

* Promote the welfare of all cats: domestic, stray, and feral. * Practice and provide information on all aspects of Trap-Neuter-Release. * Operate an adoption program that provides a service to the community. * Spay or neuter cats in our care before adoption. * Assist individuals to help rescue, socialize and place cats. * Promote testing for feline diseases such as feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. * Manage cat overpopulation at the source by sterilizing feral cat colonies. * Keep cats out of the sheltering system, thus reducing euthanasia rates. * Provide information and assistance to encourage and help people keep their cats, and to give cats a better life.
