ORGANIZATION: Silver Key Senior Services

Volunteers drive their own vehicle delivering meals to seniors Monday - Friday. Delivery time is typically 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You provide days/times convenient to your schedule. Delivering meals provides a positive connection with our seniors.

* You may be the sole visitor for this senior.
* You provide social interaction to alleviate isolation and/or depression.
* You are a positive Silver Key representative and have the opportunity to ensure the well-being of a senior.

Delivery volunteers must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, pass a background check and random drug screenings. Meals on Wheels does not accept volunteers needing court appointed hours. Children and students must volunteer with an adult 18 years of age or older.

Silver Key is proud to serve thousands of seniors in the greater Colorado Springs area. We offer a variety of services for area seniors, 60 years of age and older, to maintain their independence, safety and quality of life.

We offer a comprehensive client-centered approach to compassionate care. Services include: Companionship, Senior Veteran Support, Case Management, Behavioral Health, Food Pantry, Transportation, Thrift Store and more! Our team supports senior well-being by addressing temporary hardships, mental and physical challenges, financial matters, health care benefits, connections to available federal and local resources, loneliness and isolation, and more.
