Are you interested in working with a fun, diverse and very appreciative group of adults? If so, the Arlington Education and Employment Program (REEP) is seeking volunteers to teach literacy to adult learners in REEP’s English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at the Syphax Education Center and Arlington Mill Community Center. Volunteers work with beginner level ESL students and provide literacy instruction to students one-on-one or in small groups for 2.5-3 hours/week. We ask for a commitment of one evening or morning a week for a minimum of three months. Training is provided before starting. Volunteering at REEP is a great way to meet people from other countries and cultures and learn more about the field of ESL and literacy.
