Mission Statement

To ensure children, teens, and adults become successful and self-sufficient by learning to read, write, and speak English.

Capital Area Literacy Coalition is a nonprofit organization in Lansing, Michigan. Also called The Reading People, the organization provides a variety of free services to empower people to achieve their personal goals through literacy.
