Community Lunch Volunteers
A team of volunteers assist staff to prepare and serve a nutritious breakfast including beverages using safe food handling practices. Breakfast service is Monday through Friday mornings from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and volunteers typically work 30 minutes before and after shift time. Volunteers must be able to stand for an extended period and lift dishes. Volunteers will need a valid food handler’s license or be willing to obtain one.
A team is also needed to clean the area and wash dishes after completion of breakfast.
Dining Room Prep
One volunteer is needed each morning to prepare dining tables, place napkins in dispensers, refill salt and pepper shakers, and refill utensil containers. These volunteers will start about 7:30 am.
