Volunteers are the heart and hands of Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network - providing compassionate and non-judgmental services to those affected by HIV and AIDS. Providing good programs and services requires many things, not least of which is good administrative support. The CarePartner Program Support Volunteer works with staff to perform a variety of vital office tasks. Responsibilities include designing materials, updating bulletin boards with local resources and other items of interest. Our volunteers copy newsletters, e-newsletters, flyers and brochures, as well as write stories for our newsletter. Additional tasks include maintaining and organizing donated CarePartner supplies, promoting and enrolling people in our programs, event planning and administrative tasks such as filing, copying, mailings and preparing materials for direct service events. Hours are flexible starting at two or more hours per week . Skills necessary include a high level of Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel), good organizational and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently. For more information, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (520) 299-6647 ext 206, or VolunteerCoordinator@tihan.org. Please add volunteercoordinator@tihan.org to your contacts list so our emails to you won't go to your junk/spam folder.
