About

Volunteers are the heart and hands of Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network - providing compassionate and non-judgmental services to those affected by HIV and AIDS. Providing good programs and services requires many things, not least of which is good administrative support. The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of vital office tasks, including designing publicity materials, print newsletters, e-newsletters, flyers and brochures, writes newsletter stories, maintains and organizes toiletry and cleaning supplies for CarePartners as well as supplies in a storage unit, updates bulletin boards with information on local resources and other items of interest, helps facilitate or present volunteer training sessions, assists with training session enrollment and promotion, assists with planning events such as the Living Well with HIV graduation dinner, and administrative tasks such as filing, copying, mailings, and preparing materials for training and other events. If you’re available two or more hours a week, the hours are flexible. If you have good computer skills, including Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel (or the ability to learn these programs quickly), good organizational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail, and are an independent worker with good written communication skills, we’d like to hear from you. For more information, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 520-299-6647 x206, or volunteercoordinator@tihan.org. Please add volunteercoordinator@tihan.org to your contacts list so our reponses to you won't go to your spam folder.
