Volunteers interview clients and give out bags of groceries. There are 4 positions in the food pantry:
The Greeter: will greet the customer when they arrive and help with filling out the paper work.
The Sorter/Bagger: works in the pantry sorting food & stocking the shelves and filling the bags. (must be able to bend and lift 15 -25 pounds)
The Computer person: Inputs all the information from the clients’ paper work into the computer. This person must have computer skills; have patience and be sensitive and caring. Please put email address and or phone number before sending your request.
We are looking to move to a choice pantry which would change the Sorter/Bagger Position to a Shopper which would assist the clients picking their groceries from the shelves. This process will require more volunteers when we switch in early summer.
Volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation session.
Hours of operation for this pantry: Mon - Fri 11:00am - 2:00pm
