About CROS Ministries

Location:

3677 23rd Ave. S., #B101, Lake Worth, FL 33461, US

Mission Statement

The mission of CROS Ministries is to serve the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties through community collaborations.

Description

The programs of CROS include:

Eight Community Food Pantries, The Caring Kitchen, After School Snack Program, Gleaning Program, and CROS Camp.

The CROS Community Food Pantries provide emergency food to individuals and families in need.

The CROS Caring Kitchen is a hot meal program in Delray Beach which serves a hot lunch Monday - Friday and gives out on Saturday two bagged lunches. We also deliver meals to those who are homebound three days a week.

The After School Snack program provides snacks for After School Programs in Delray Beach for children who receive free and reduced lunch at school.

Through the CROS Gleaning Program, hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh produce are harvested during the gleaning season (Dec. to July). This fresh produce is then distributed to agencies feeding the hungry.

CROS Summer Day Camp is offered to children from families with low incomes. CROS camp provides a safe and nurturing environment and include STEM classes to keep them from falling behind over the summer.
