The Compassion Place, a Ministry of LMS, is always looking for great volunteers for our 8 Compassion Centers, that offer volunteer positions. We are located throughout Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania.

Volunteering in our centers, you can help to welcome and greet visitors as well as assist in accepting donations, sort and hang clothes, and many other tasks. Volunteers can also have the opportunity to share the love of God with visitors who walk through our doors. Help make the world a better place one hurting person at a time!

The Lutheran Mission Society operates 10 Compassion Centers throughout the state of Maryland and one in York, PA These centers provide food, clothing, health and spiritual care for individuals and families in need. The compassion centers are open to the general public as well. Donations of clothing, furniture and household items are always greatly appreciated.
