The Humane Society of McCormick County has puppies and dogs in a facility with inside and outside space in McCormick, SC. The puppies and dogs need love and attention everyday until they can find their forever home. And they often need some quiet time with a person to learn to trust again. The dogs also need to be fed and walked several times a day. Teaching a dog to walk on a leash will help them get adopted sooner. They also need to have their kennels cleaned out. We work in teams and the duties can be divided up or everyone can take turns.
Helping a dog or puppy learn to trust and find a forever home is a wonderful experience. Contact us to find out more at HSMC2000@gmail.com.

The Humane Society of McCormick County is an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue. We are the sole source of animal care because McCormick County has no cit or county-run shelter, or veterinarians. We are completely depend upon local donations and private grants to support our efforts to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in our community. We are a non-profit so donations are tax-deductible. We offer a low-cost or no-cost spay and neuter program for any dog or cat in our county in an effort to humanely reduce the number of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats.
