Ronald McDonald House Family Room A Place of Respite inside UNM Children's Hospital
The Ronald McDonald House Family Room is located on the 6th Floor of the UNM Children's Hospital in the Child Life Center. The Family Room provides a "home away from home" within the hospital to families with ill or injured children receiving medical treatment at UNMH.
Volunteers must be 18 or over. This is a wonderful opportunity for college students who need some down time to study and give back at same time. Volunteers help with welcoming and registering families, maintaining supplies, and overseeing laundry and computer schedule.
