Do you have a passion for the performing arts? Are you interested in volunteering your time to support the performing arts in Phoenix? Do you enjoy working with the public and people who share your passion?

The Phoenix Convention Center Theatrical Volunteer Program offers volunteer usher opportunities at Phoenix Symphony Hall and the historic Orpheum Theatre.

Volunteer ushers provide guests with a memorable experience by greeting guests, handing out programs, helping guests to their seats, and providing information and directions.

Opportunities are available year-round, with a concentration between mid-September and the end of May each year. Most performances are evenings and weekends.

We ask our volunteers to contribute their time and energy for 20 performances per theatrical season (an average of two per month). Schedule is flexible and you choose the events you wish to volunteer for.

After you've completed our in-person training, you'll be eligible to usher any event, at either venue, and you get to see the performances you work!

Parking is provided, at no cost, while volunteering.

For questions please e-mail pcc.volunteer@phoenix.gov.
