It's almost back to school time!
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is hosting a back to school event for our Refugee & Immigration program. Volunteers are needed to help greet guests, lead them to the bathroom or stations if they need help, and distribute school supplies and backpacks to families.
We are also hosting a childcare room, and volunteers who enjoy spending time with young children are needed to help lead activities and keep them entertained.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy spending time with children and getting to know their community.
The event will take place from 9am to 3pm. Volunteers are welcome to help for the entire time or just a few hours!
