ORGANIZATION: The Youth Resource Bank of Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz County Youth Resource Bank is an all-volunteer organization working with professionals in our community to meet the needs of at-risk youth in Santa Cruz County. Join our volunteer team as a bookkeeper - and make a tangible difference to children in need in our community! We are seeking a volunteer that can start in July!

Our current bookkeeper uses Quickbooks and Google Sheets to track payments and reconcile deposits from checks, cash, PayPal wire /ACH deposits.

The bookkeeper works with the Board of Directors and Fulfillment Committee to reconcile the Gift Card totals.

Other bookkeeper responsibilities include: posting monthly checks, reconciling monthly bank statements, reporting to the Finance Committee, monthly Profit & Loss reports, balance sheet, Reconciliation Report to address uncleared checks, submit documents to a CPA to file State and Federal Tax Returns, and other related tasks.

A volunteer can expect to serve about 3 hours per month on this project (after initial training).
