Looking for an opportunity to familiarize yourself with our facilities and learn more about what we do at LA Family Housing? Join us for a Volunteer Training + Tour!

Why: You'll get a crash course in the causes of and solutions to homelessness as well as how to utilize trauma-informed care when interacting with people transitioning out of homelessness.

Who: L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) works to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.

What to Expect:

Volunteers will learn about LAFH volunteering best practices and will be given an in-person tour of LAFH's main campus.

You'll leave armed with more knowledge and better able to make a real difference!

You'll also be cleared to join any volunteer opportunities where our participants are present.

If you are not able to attend this in-person event, please feel free to check out our virtual Volunteer Seminar + Training conducted through Zoom.

What's Required:

Must be able to attend this in-person meeting in North Hollywood

Comfortable with walking/standing for an extended period of time as this is a guided walking tour.

All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Note: We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours.
