ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles

Note: We no longer accept court-referred hours or workman's comp volunteers at this organization.

You can assist in Habitat for Humanity's mission to end substandard housing worldwide by helping in the product warehouse.

Who: What exactly is the eCommerce Department? The eCommerce Department is a social enterprise of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA). This department manages our online retail store and other online platforms. All home furnishing prices are at least 50% off retail value, and all proceeds from the eCommerce Department sales are used toward the Habitat for Humanity mission to end substandard housing worldwide.

What to Expect:
- Product assembly of donated items
- Organize and sort inventory
- Help stage items for photos for our online platforms.
- Work with warehouse assistants in receiving and distributing orders

*Best of all, no experience is necessary!

Volunteers may be asked to assist the ReStore team during their shift if help is needed. No matter your skill set, there's something for everyone.

What's Required:
- Please bring a water bottle.
- Volunteers must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Sneakers or work boots are the only shoes permitted. Sandals/ Flip-Flops, Ugg boots, high heels, wedges, or anything with an open toe is prohibited. No hoodies, daisy dukes, baggy pants, yoga pants, sweat pants, basketball shorts, or tank tops.
- No jewelry that dangles or that can become entangled.
- Volunteers are not allowed to operate any motorized company equipment.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Please fill out and bring your Volunteer Form packet when you come and volunteer with us for the first time.
