Help Habitat LA Assemble a Large Shipment of Donated Furniture! This is a special construction opportunity held in our Habitat LA ReStore! How you will be helping: Furniture Assemblers are in charge of the physical assembly of furniture. Duties include adjusting, fitting parts, ensuring quality standards, using power tools, and any other required materials to assemble furniture. Volunteers will be in our warehouse! What other information should I know before I volunteer? Please bring a water bottle Sneakers or work boots are the only shoes permitted. No daisy dukes, baggy pants Construction/DIY experience is a plus. REQUIREMENTS All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the Minor Release Form and Waiver of Liability Form and bring them to the workday.
