The International Institute of Minnesota helps New Americans achieve self-sufficiency and full membership in American life. We provide career guidance through a variety of classes that help new Americans gain the skills and knowledge to overcome barriers and unlock employment opportunities in the United States. Connect with students in our Professional Leadership Class who are developing leadership and management skills to advance their careers in a wide variety of areas. This class is designed for New Americans with U.S. work experience across industries. Each semester, we host Mock Interview events to connect students with volunteers to practice interviewing. We try to connect students and volunteers from similar fields together. We're looking for professionals across all industries who have experience with hiring and/or interviewing staff. We'll provide a list of questions to ask your assigned interviewee and provide a feedback form at the end to give any helpful tips to the interviewee.
