ORGANIZATION: Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation

Doggie Ambassadors are volunteers who help keep dog waste bags dispensers in our parks and open spaces stocked dog waste bags! Through the work of volunteers, community members will now have access to free dog waste bags at Truckee Meadows’ parks. As dog waste bags are distributed, we will work to reduce the amount of dog waste in our parks, open spaces, and the Truckee River watershed.

By being a Doggie Ambassador, you will help our community develop responsible dog ownership practices and provide needed resources to help keep our parks clean and our watershed free from bacteria.

Make a difference where you live today by becoming a Doggie Ambassador. This opportunity provides the chance to get outside and serve the greater community of Reno. Learn about the harmful effects of dog waste and how YOU can help stop the problem.
