We are looking for experienced, skilled and passionate individuals to join our team!

The Human Resources Assistant is a vital role within the foundation, supporting the HR team with a variety of tasks and initiatives while also contributing to the overall success of the foundation. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

General Responsibilities & Duties of Assistant:

  • Assist in the recruiting process by posting volunteer opportunities and facilitating communication with candidates
  • Track the progress of applicants through the onboarding process for each department
  • Provide support to volunteers with questions or concerns during the onboarding process and throughout their volunteer experience
  • Assist in conducting orientations as needed
  • Distribute and collect annual volunteer evaluations
  • Support the Chief Human Resource Officer with various tasks as requested
  • Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating and interacting with team members
  • Refer problems and work issues to the CHRO and/or team leads when guidance is needed
  • Organize and maintain HR and department virtual workspaces
  • Identify areas for organizational growth and improvement
  • Identify and prioritize weekly task lists

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Google Suite applications.
  • Time management is key. Organizational skills are a MUST .
  • Good communication skills.
  • Approachable and must carry in a professional manner.

CDF is a 501c3 certified non-profit organization

Our mission is to provide access to resources, education and training for energy efficient and clean energy opportunities in underserved communities.

By providing home remodeling, clean energy and technology for families with limited resources we believe it will open doors to the green economy. We partnered with incentive providers such as municipalities, financial institutions businesses and contractors to expedite the electrification of all buildings with minimal cost as possible to the owner. Our programs give communities the opportunity to reduce energy bills, increase property values, bridge the digital divide and compete in an emerging economy.

Through our Green Collar Jobs initiative we are focused on developing talent in both technical and trades positions. Harnessing data and developing the latest tools in machine learning and AI, we are poised to fill the gaps in opportunities for access in the energy transition.
