Are you looking to make a meaingful difference in someone's life? Become a hospice volunteer and provide invaluable companionship to our patients! As a hospice volunteer, you will offer emotional support, conversation, and a comforting presence to those in need.
Bristol Hospice Dallas are seeking caring, compassionate, and volunteers who are willing to help and provide companionship for those we serve. No prior medical experience is required - We will train you and provide continious education and resources to help you become a successful in your role as a volunteer.
Requirements Include:
- Background and reference checks
- TB testing
- 10 hours of online training
- Orientation

Description
Bristol Hospice Dallas provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to terminal illness.
Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
