The Limb Preservation Foundation is a non-profit that provides hope, help, and possibilities to people facing limb loss as a result of tumor, trauma, or infection. We do this through financial assistance-- paying utilities, rent and healthcare while patients are in crisis allowing them to focus on healing, through peer support and hospital carebags, and through scholarships and educational events.
To spread the word about our programs, the Limb Preservation Foundation visits a variety of community events throughout the year such as festivals, races, and fairs. We are looking for volunteers to staff the information table at these events. This would involve picking up the fair box prior to the event, setting up and breaking down the table, and interacting with the public throughout the event including handing out swag and answering questions.
Volunteers commit to at least two events per year, and are expected to maintain those commitments. If interested email laurie@limbpreservation.org or fill out an application at https://limbpreservation.org/volunteer-application/
