Please note: This is NOT an online registration! Interested volunteers MUST contact the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule an interview and training!

Enthusiastic and energetic volunteers are needed to supervise and mentor youth, ages 5 - 12 years old at our Amphi Corps Summer Day Camp, located at 218 E. Prince Rd.

Our fun, five-week summer day camp program is filled with different enrichment activities including arts & crafts, games, sports, field trips and more! The camp begins on June 21 and runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Volunteers are encouraged to choose at least one, specific day a week (for two-to-four hours), for continuity and ease in scheduling.

Description

The Salvation Army provides services to the Tucson community by way of temporary shelter, transitional housing, case management, job training, and GED Training. We hand out food boxes, water and clothing to those in need.

We also have youth programs such as day and summer camps and after school programs similar to Boy and Girl Scouts.

During the holidays, we provide meals for community members on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. We also host the Christmas Angel Giving Tree and Adopt-a-Family program for those in need at Christmas.
