When: 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays, 10 am-2 pm


Where: Worksites vary throughout Tennessee Valley; specific meeting location will be listed in the registration confirmation email. Registration is required.


Get your hands dirty while restoring and protecting Tennessee Valley’s native plant communities, which support native wildlife, climate resiliency, and a sense of place on the Bay Area’s rugged coast. We’ll explore beautiful grasslands, coastal scrub, and wetland sites while conducting invasive plant removal, winter planting, and seed collection.


Join the HRT legacy! Volunteers have been stewarding ecosystems in Tennessee Valley since the 1970s, from field-based habitat restoration to growing native plants in the former Tennessee Valley nursery. The Tuesday program is led by staff of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area’s Habitat Restoration Team, which also hosts volunteers on Sundays and Wednesdays.
