OVERVIEW:
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors and contribute their expertise, experience, and dedication to our cause. As a non-profit board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring sound governance, and advancing our mission to mitigate the epidemic of isolation and loneliness in our communities through interactive drum circles and fitness events that engage people of all ages and abilities.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the organization in alignment with its mission and goals.
- Actively participate in board meetings, committee meetings, and special events.
- Advocate for the organization within the community and engage in fundraising efforts.
- Review and approve organizational policies, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Collaborate with fellow board members, staff, and volunteers to achieve organizational objectives.
- Serve as ambassadors for the organization, promoting its mission and values.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Commitment to the mission and vision of Rhythm of Life Society.
- Previous experience serving on non-profit boards or relevant leadership experience preferred.
- Expertise in areas such as finance, law, marketing, fundraising, or program development is desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to dedicate time and energy to actively participate in board activities and support the organization's initiatives.
- A diverse range of perspectives and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
