We are seeking a volunteer Board Treasurer. This person will provide financial oversight for our organization, serve as a liaison between the Board and staff, and stay diligent in carrying out the organization’s mission, vision, and purpose. This is a hybrid position with flexible hours, requiring on average 3-5 hours per week and bi-monthly meetings.
Board Treasurer responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Oversee finance committee members and be available to staff for advice and enquiries on an as needed basis
Collaborate with the leadership team to guide the appropriate financial decisions
Help create and manage budgets, policies, and financial reports
Give or secure an annual contribution in the amount of $500
Board members are required to be located in Charlotte, NC or within 30 minutes commute.

Mission Statement
The mission of Raise a Child of the Carolinas is to expose K-12 youth to academic enrichment opportunities that are not commonly available in their communities. Raise a Child of the Carolinas believes that children have so much to offer to the world. We believe that they have the power to shape the future generations to come. At Raise a Child of the Carolinas, we are here to provide them the support they need to become the best version of themselves. We have several educational programs and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.
