We are seeking young adults from age 13 to 18 years old for our YACPA Committee. The YACPA committee will work together to educate and raise awareness about parrots in captivity among children and other young adults promoting improving the parrot's outcomes within our homes. They will also seek social and legislative changes regarding parrot welfare in the state of Georgia starting at the county levels. Young people who join the committee will learn about the true state of parrot welfare, well-being, and overall care and maintenance that is constantly evolving as new research is released.
