Three Oaks Hospice is looking for a compassionate volunteer available in Tyler County, TX! Becoming a hospice volunteer is an opportunity to serve local patients and their families through companionship. Companionship volunteers typically visit patients in their private homes or respective nursing facilities to provide opportunities for socialization, reading, games, or just a supportive presence. This can be extremely beneficial for patients and also can provide much needed breaks for a patients' family member/caregiver. Our companionship volunteers have an important and priceless impact on patients and families.

Volunteer training is provided to prepare you for working with patients and families. There is no physical care involved for volunteers and the hours are very flexible. Hospice volunteering is a rewarding opportunity that can make an incredible difference in both a patients life as well as your own!
