About The Love Story: The Love Story is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing expressive writing programs to individuals dealing with heartbreak, grief, and trauma. Through workshops, mentorship, educational resources, publishing, and interactive productions, we aim to shift the perception of pain and empower individuals to find meaning and purpose in their experiences. We believe in the transformative power of storytelling and strive to support individuals on their journey toward emotional and spiritual well-being.

Position Overview: The Love Story is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern focused on Social Media. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of supporting individuals in overcoming challenges through expressive writing and storytelling. The Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in securing momentum and visibility.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Specialized Focus: The Marketing Intern - Social Media position will specifically be responsible for creating Social Media engagement (posts, photos, polls, quotes, testimonials, etc), along with other marketing support. This will play a crucial role in securing momentum and exposure for The Love Story.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Strong research and analytical abilities.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience in running consistent and engaging social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter)

Ad copywriting, support and email marketing & SEO.

ALL preferred, but not required.

Passion for The Love Story's mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Time Commitment: This is a volunteer position with a flexible time commitment. It will be expected to dedicate approximately 5-10 hours a week, or 20-40 hours a month, to the role, including time for research, writing, and communication with team members.
