ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles

Site Hosts are the volunteers' first point of contact on our event sites! Our staff appreciates you helping create a smooth check-in process to our volunteers and displaying a welcoming environment. Sign up for your Site Host shift with Habitat LA!

Why: Our mission is to bring people together to build homes, community, and hope. Our vision is that everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We aim to uplift low-income communities all around Greater Los Angeles with the hopes of giving them a hand up, not a handout. Over 80% of the labor done on our homes is through volunteer work from individuals and groups from various backgrounds.

Who: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles seeks to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where every person has a decent place to live.

What to Expect:

A Site Host greets volunteers each morning on the construction site.

You are responsible for welcoming all guests, checking in volunteers, and making sure volunteers are registered via our online registration system.

Help set up tables, chairs, and banners to welcome our groups out on site.

We couldn't get the work done without you, so come lend a hand with Habitat LA!

What's Required:

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the minor's release and waiver of liability form and bring it to the construction site on the workday.
