Mobile Developer

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to join our team and spearhead the development of a mobile application for our WordPress-based social media platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mobile app development, particularly in creating engaging and user-friendly experiences

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and features of our existing WordPress-based social media platform.

• Design and develop a user-friendly mobile application for iOS and Android platforms that mirrors the website's capabilities.

• Ensure the mobile app aligns with the established brand, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) guidelines.

• Integrate APIs and functionalities required for seamless communication between the mobile app and the WordPress platform.

• Optimize app performance for various mobile devices and operating systems.

• Implement security measures and data protection protocols within the mobile app.

• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proficiency in Flutter.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.

• Strong understanding of mobile app UI/UX principles and design standards.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of mobile app testing and debugging techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with WordPress-based platforms or similar social media communities.

• Previous projects demonstrating the integration of web-based platforms into mobile applications.

• Understanding of cloud-based technologies and server configurations for mobile app integration.

Commitment & Location

10 hours per week. We require a year-long commitment for most positions. We can be flexible on time and support vacations and unlimited leave with advance notice.
