This 100% virtual position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Volunteer Services (VS) Volunteer Mobilization department. The Administrative Support Volunteer provides support to the NHQ:VS - Volunteer Mobilization - Volunteer Screening Team. This is done by managing correspondence via the screening team's shared inbox, monitoring and responding to incoming requests. The volunteer will also be responsible for updating volunteers' screening assignments on the team's Excel spreadsheet as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering shared inbox, responding to requests from volunteers and NHQ Screening Team
- Tags emails for further review and follow up - delivers out to appropriate recipients
- Research information from database and Excel spreadsheet
- May be assigned other special projects as needed
Qualifications:
ALL REQUIRED
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficiency using the Microsoft suite, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel
- Willingness to learn new technology, such as Power BI
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable with multitasking
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
- Must reside in the United States
