ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - National Headquarters

This position supports the International Services Department (ISD) Asia Pacific (AP) Division. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The Training Lead supports Asia Pacific Division staff by serving as the subject matter expert and ensuring internal and external partners have access to high quality, timely training and an understanding of relevant curriculum needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with supervisors to develop and track all required onboarding training requirements
  • Communicate with program leads to determine training needs
  • Once onboarding is complete, track accomplishment of other required training to meet program goals
  • Facilitate access to courses for AP staff
  • Work with supervisors to ensure completion of all assigned training
  • Plan and assist with setting up other required training events
  • Maintain training calendar and send updates and reminders
  • Assist AP National Societies in administering their onboarding and training programs.
  • Ensure that completion data, statistical information and feedback is provided to National Headquarters as requested.

Qualifications:

ALL REQUIRED

  • Availability to attend recurring virtual meetings in the evenings EST (morning-time for Asia Pacific Division)
  • Submission of current and updated resume
  • Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
  • Comfortable using various computer applications including Teams, Outlook, Excel (including filtering and sorting Excel spreadsheets), & SharePoint
  • Experience scheduling meetings across multiple locations and time zones
  • Experience training or giving presentations to staff virtually
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to answer emails within 24-48 hours during most weekdays
  • Comfortable giving feedback to supervisors and other leadership about training goals being met and training materials needed
  • Experience developing training materials
  • Experience as administrator of online learning portal
  • Experience with onboarding staff
  • Experience exporting reports and statistics to Excel
  • Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
  • Must reside in the United States or OCONUS sites
