Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Our mission is to teach SEL at every school in the country. It is a tough challenge, but we know "No Challenge, No Change." Resilience offers internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement

Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Web Development Project Manager. As the Web Development Project Manager, you will have the responsibility of overseeing and managing our Web Team, assigning tasks, conducting meetings, monitoring performance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our websites. Your role will involve collaborating with other teams, attending leadership meetings, and ensuring the team's productivity. Knowledge and experience with WordPress is required, and familiarity with GoDaddy is preferred. Previous experience leading a team, whether in a professional or academic setting, is necessary to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for managing our Web Team, assigning them tasks to maintain 5-10 hours of work per week.
  • You will hold weekly team meetings, attend weekly Resilience Inc. Leadership meetings, and monitor employee profiles and performance.
  • You will be responsible for meeting with new recruits on your team and overseeing off boarding when interns leave your team.
  • You will be responsible for addressing any site-breaking issues with your team to maintain our websites functions.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with WordPress, including website management, content updates, and plugin/theme customization.
  • Familiarity with GoDaddy or similar website management platforms is preferred.
  • Experience leading a team, whether in a professional or academic setting, demonstrating effective leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address site-breaking issues and ensure website functionality.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of web design principles, UX/UI concepts, and SEO best practices.
  • HTML/CSS/WordPress experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
