Would you like to volunteer for Big Day of Play 2024?

We’ll be back on August 17, 2024 from Noon-5pm: the community makes it happen.

We need help with:
  • Set-up and Tear down

  • Greeting and Surveying participants

  • The main event at Rainier Playfield

  • Water activities at Mt Baker Rowing and Sailing Center

  • Help with the Fun Run

Big Day of Play is a celebration of our City’s diversity and it encourages neighbors, communities and families to have fun, build relationships and be active together.

Description

Seattle Parks and Recreation - Central Recreation consists of Montlake, Miller, Garfield, Yesler, and Queen Anne Community Centers. In addition, Central Recreaion provides support for the new Belltown Community Center scheduled to open in June of 2012.
