Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Writer/Donations Specialist with a background in finance to join our team. This volunteer position is essential for securing the funding needed to support our programs and initiatives. The Grant Writer/Donations Specialist will research, identify, and apply for grants and donations to ensure the financial stability and growth of Big Bang Artwork. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities and funding sources.
  • Write and submit grant proposals, applications, and reports to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.
  • Prepare compelling and persuasive donation requests and fundraising materials.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant applications.
  • Track and report on the status of grant applications and fundraising efforts.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for grant budgeting and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and grant guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related fields.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or related discipline.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
