Job Summary We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking Event Coordinator to oversee and execute event planning initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can coordinate various aspects of events while ensuring smooth execution. The Event Coordinator will play a critical role in managing logistics, team coordination, and ensuring each event runs seamlessly. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to facilitate communication with vendors, clients, and partners. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute events of various sizes and formats. Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budgeting. Develop and maintain event timelines, checklists, and project plans. Assist in recruiting and training event staff and volunteers. Ensure compliance with event permits, regulations, and safety guidelines. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events. Monitor event progress and provide real-time problem-solving solutions. Conduct post-event evaluations and recommend improvements for future events. Communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in event coordination or planning. Strong knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and budgeting. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
