Summer Camp Tutor

Hours: June 17-July 26 (flexible hours)

Desired level of commitment: At least one day a week

Duration: Year-round

Age requirement: 18+

Tasks may include:

  • Assisting with reading, math, or STEM work
  • Providing extra help
  • Preparing and passing out lunch
  • Chaperoning for special field trips

In order to volunteer you should be:

  • A registered UAServe volunteer (you will have a chance to register if you haven't already)
  • Willing to attend an orientation and training prior to volunteering
  • Willing to submit a background check
  • Open to an ongoing volunteer opportunity that works with your schedule
  • Willing to take initiative
  • Personable
  • Reliable
  • Honest
  • Patient
