IT Specialist
Initiative: Beyond the Basics
Impact area: Basic Needs (food, clothing, housing)
Locations: Hartford, CT
Hours: Varies (10:00am-3:00pm) Other hours can be arranged.
Desired level of commitment: Once per week
Duration: Year-round
Age requirement: 18+
Tasks may include:
- Aiding in resolution of technical issues
- Installing equipment and software
- Solving internet security issues
In order to volunteer you should be:
- A registered UAServe volunteer (you will have a chance to register if you haven't already)
- Willing to attend an orientation and training prior to volunteering
- Willing to submit a background check
- Open to an ongoing volunteer opportunity that works with your schedule
- Technologically savvy
- Able to communicate clearly
- Reliable
- Honest
